- Integration with electronic registration - The recent report from the National Audit Office calls for central government to work more closely with local councils and schools to cut truancy. Using Text Message Server with electronic registration systems allows for quick verification of student absence. An SMS to pupil/parents/guardian can be automatically triggered by non-attendance - "Are you OK?", "Your child has not arrived for registration", "Lectures Start in five minutes", etc. This is a fast, cost-effective way to help solve what is currently a big problem - over 50,000 truancies every day in the UK.
